TURQUOISE WOOL BLEND SACRF - CHANSON

Drawing inspiration from various ethnic motifs and executed in frieze, the scarf's design is both contemporary and classic. It features a lively color scheme, with turquoise as the predominant hue, accented by touches of khaki, yellow, and orange.

The inventive and vibrant blend of turquoise green, kaki and orange lends the scarf an exceptionally original appearance, making it versatile enough to complement nearly any outfit. It pairs seamlessly with classic black or navy blue coats, as well as anthracite jackets for a sophisticated chic look. For winter sports attire, it matches well with khaki, yellow ochre, and purple parkas, and also harmonizes with neutral hues such as brown, grey, or beige.

To wash a scarf crafted from all-natural materials, it is recommended to hand wash using a detergent designed for cold water. Avoid soaking it for an extended period. After washing, wrap the scarf in a cotton towel to dry before hanging it up. Iron with steam on a high setting to maintain the natural fibers' fullness. Although machine drying is not advised, dry cleaning is a suitable alternative.

The weaving method used to make this scarf, known as the Jacquard method, involves the interweaving of a silk warp thread with a wool, cotton, and silk weft thread, using a specific pattern. In order to do this, the Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving atelier uses Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom was developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design by interweaving different colored threads. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving.
