A gorgeous, warm, comfortable women’s scarf made of a soft blend of natural materials. Perfect for cold snaps, and ideal for the mountains and winter sports. This scarf’s traditional Jacquard weaving is truly remarkable and the finishing work is impeccable, with 3cm fringes at the ends of the scarf. 100% Made in Lyon, France.
INSPIRATION

Inspired by different ethnic motifs, realized in frieze, the design is both modern and timeless. A very vibrant color pattern characterizes the scarf, with a dominant ink blue being marked by fuchsia, pink, and turquoise.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

A very creative and luminous marriage of blue with turquoise and fuchsia gives the scarf a very original look which can be paired with almost any style. You can wear it with more classic black or marine blue coats, or with anthracite jackets for a classic chic look. For winter sports, you can pair it with fuchsia, yellow ochre, and purple parkas, but also with neutral colors like brown, grey, or beige.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To swash a scarf made of all natural materials, we advise washing by hand with a detergent made specifically for low temperature washing. Do not let it soak for too long. The scarf can be dried in a cotton towel before putting on a hanger. Iron on high heat with vapor to preserve the volume of the natural fibers. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving method used to make this scarf, known as the Jacquard method, involves the interweaving of a silk warp thread with a wool, cotton, and silk weft thread, using a specific pattern. In order to do this, the Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving atelier uses Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom was developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design by interweaving different colored threads. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving.
