OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

Effortlessly pairing with nearly any outfit, from classic to casual styles, this scarf brings a touch of elegance to your look. It complements a brown coat or suit, a leather jacket, or a neutral-colored parka perfectly. Truly, it's an essential item in any man's wardrobe.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

For washing a wool and silk scarf, it's recommended to hand wash it. Avoid soaking it for an extended period. For drying, place the scarf between layers of a cotton towel to absorb the extra water without wringing or twisting. Afterwards, lay the scarf flat to air dry. To rejuvenate its softness and texture, iron on a high heat setting using steam. Never put it in the dryer, but dry cleaning is a suitable alternative.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The scarf's weaving technique involves intertwining silk warp threads with merino wool weft threads, following a unique pattern. This is achieved using Jacquard looms at the Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving studio. The Jacquard loom, invented in 1801 by Joseph Marie Jacquard from Lyon, was the first machine that used perforated cards for programming to weave designs with various colored threads. Owing to the artisanal weaving expertise passed down since 1880, we now utilize electronically controlled looms that ensure the scarf is crafted with exceptional quality while honoring the traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving practices.
