Our expertise

Transmitted from generation to generation, our knowledge was passed on for three centuries. Our workshop is specialized in Jacquard weaving, a traditionnal technique of Lyon's silk, famous throughout the world. La Fabrique d'Echarpe tames ancient practises by putting them at the service of high technology.

The motifs created by La Fabrique d'Echarpe and invented by Joseph-Marie Jacquard, transcribed from the last century on punch cards, are now adapted into a computer program and they are registered directly on the new generation looms of our workshop.
