Discover a scarf that's both incredibly warm and delightfully silky, crafted from blended wool to combat the winter chill. It's especially suited for those sensitive to the cold. Perfect for mountain getaways or winter sports, this scarf features an old pink hue set against a brown background, adding a vibrant touch to your winter wardrobe. Adorned with large, 2.5-inch colored fringes at each end, this scarf is both lengthy and substantial, making it an ideal accessory for constant wear.
INSPIRATION

Drawing inspiration from the Alpine countryside, this motif was crafted to encapsulate various elements of a mountain through miniature geometric patterns, akin to those found in men's ties. Arrows, tiny dots, ridges, and delicate stripes were devised to depict the entirety of a mountainous landscape. A warm color palette enhances the design, with shaded stitching contributing to the piece's overall depth.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

Featuring large fringes and geometric patterns, this scarf complements a leather jacket or a parka in black or blue hues. For a classic aesthetic, pair it with an overcoat in white or cream, or opt for subdued shades such as anthracite, chocolate, or navy blue. This cozy scarf also pairs seamlessly with vibrant ski attire, lending a sophisticated and stylish accent to your figure while you glide down the slopes.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

For washing a wool-based scarf, hand washing is recommended. Immerse the scarf in lukewarm water, taking care to avoid hot water or significant temperature changes, as wool is sensitive to these. Employ a mild detergent or one specifically formulated for wool. To initiate drying, place the scarf within a towel to absorb surplus moisture, but refrain from wringing or twisting it. Dry the scarf by laying it flat. Ironing should be done on a low setting with steam to rejuvenate the wool's loft and softness. While machine drying is not an option, professional dry cleaning is a suitable alternative.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The scarf's weaving technique involves intertwining silk warp threads with Merino wool weft threads in a distinct pattern. Our weaving workshop, Fabrique de l’Écharpe, employs Jacquard looms for this process. Invented by Joseph Marie Jacquard, a native of Lyon, in 1801, the Jacquard loom was the first machine that used perforated cards for programming a design. Leveraging our expertise, handed down since 1880, we now utilize digital Jacquard looms, which allow us to guarantee top-quality products while preserving the authentic tradition of Jacquard weaving.
