CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To swash a scarf made of natural materials, we advise washing by hand. Iron on low heat with vapor to preserve the properties of the scarf’s natural fibers. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.
TRADITIONALLY MADE
Our Jacquard weaving methods are an evolution of the weaving method created by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design by interweaving different colored threads. We follow the latest trends in order to stay current with weaving techniques and offer you the best quality woven products. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving. To improve the feel of the fabric we used in this stole, we softened the fibers after being woven with a special wash used to soften the fabric all while strengthening it to be more durable.
