GREY LEATHER WOOL BLEND STOLE - ESPRIT

The design inspired by wood ribs, makes a very modern effect, the stole is divided into 3 colors, a dark gray base, a brown leather base and the center light gray, the pattern is drawn in black on the 3 parts. With this cut of 3 colors, the scarf worn is very original. The finishes are very neat, hem on the lengths and small bangs (about 1cm) on the bases.

To wash your wool blend scarf, we recommend washing it by hand with a detergent made for delicate fabrics. Do not let it soak for too long and do not wring it out. Instead, put it in a cotton towel to soak up excess water and then let it dry flat on a hanger. Iron on low heat with vapor to restore the natural fibers’ volume. While it cannot be put in the dryer, you may take it in for dry cleaning.

The weaving method used to make this scarf, known as the “Jacquard” weave, involves the interlacing of silk warp threads and Merino wool weft threads following a specific pattern. To do this, the weaving workshop “La Fabrique d’Écharpe" has its own Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom is a weaving loom developed by the Lyon native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, the first programmable mechanical system with punched cards to produce patterns by crossing colored threads. Thanks to the savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation in our family since 1880, we now have digitally controlled electronic Jacquard looms that guarantee you perfect quality for our fabrics while respecting the authentic Lyon tradition.
