Discover an oversized beautiful stole crafted from natural Merino wool, silk, and cotton, adorned with unique large floral designs set against a polka dot background. Its weave lends an exquisite softness and a delicate touch, enhancing the scarf's texture. This warm accessory can be styled as a shawl or scarf, featuring meticulous finishing touches including small, colorful fringes at the ends and very fine hems along its edges. It's an exceptional luxury gift that seamlessly integrates into any wardrobe with its neutral palette of blue jean and beige tones. 100% made in our Lyon, France workshop.
INSPIRATION

The pattern was worked with both dotted effects superimposed, built up, and layered as seeds on the flat areas of the flowers. The design unfolds over the entire surface of the stole to give richness and breadth to the whole piece. The color scheme in neutral tones: beige, off-white and blue jean, introduces a bit of seriousness to the scarf.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

This stole can be worn as a shawl on the shoulders or as a scarf to face the coldest days of winter. Essential for accessorizing coats in the middle of winter, you can wear it with black, leather, navy blue, or blue jean…. If you’re wearing it over your shoulders, pair it with a black jacket and jeans or a leather jacket and anthracite pants, for example, at your mid-season events. A chic, elegant and sophisticated look.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

For washing a wool scarf, it's recommended to hand wash it. Avoid soaking it for an extended period. For drying, place the scarf within a cotton towel to absorb the surplus water, but refrain from wringing or twisting it. Afterwards, lay the scarf out flat to dry. To rejuvenate the scarf's softness and gentle feel, iron it using a high heat setting with steam. Although using a dryer is strictly prohibited, opting for professional dry cleaning is a suitable alternative.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving method used to make this scarf involves the interweaving of silk warp thread with Merino wool and cotton weft threads, utilizing a specially curated pattern. In order to do this, the Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving atelier uses Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom was developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design by interweaving different colored threads. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving.
