Designed for the chic and sophisticated man, this ample scarf is crafted solely from natural fibers. An exquisite mix of cotton and silk ensures unparalleled softness and superior quality. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail in our Lyon workshop, the scarf embodies the family's heritage of expertise passed down through generations, ensuring its excellence. Additionally, it has undergone a unique treatment to enhance its durability against the wear from men's beards. It makes an ideal gift for Christmas or a birthday.
INSPIRATION

This pattern draws inspiration from the interwoven strands reminiscent of horsehair. Monochrome sections are strategically positioned at the center of the scarf. The design exudes masculinity with its blue and green hues, providing a sophisticated accent to any ensemble.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

The versatility of this blue hue makes it easy to match with outfits across various seasons. When combined with green, it complements gray suits, navy, black, or green jackets, and can even enhance a simple shirt during the transitional seasons.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To maintain this men's scarf, hand washing with a standard detergent is recommended. To dry, lay the scarf in a towel briefly to absorb the excess water without wringing it, then hang it to air dry completely. Iron on the reverse side with a hot iron and steam to rejuvenate the natural fibers. Although machine drying is not advised, the scarf can be taken to a dry cleaner.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The Jacquard method, a shaped weaving technique used to create this scarf, involves intertwining warp and weft threads following a specific pattern. La Fabrique d'écharpe's weaving workshop utilizes its own Jacquard looms for this process. Invented by Joseph Marie Jacquard, a native of Lyon, in 1801, the Jacquard loom was the first programmable mechanical system using punched cards to craft patterns with colored threads. Our family has preserved this expertise since 1880, and today, we employ electronic Jacquard looms with digital controls to ensure the impeccable quality of our fabrics, honoring the most genuine traditions of Lyon.
