This large scarf exudes softness and elegance, crafted from a blend of cashmere, rayon, and cotton. The substantial cashmere content lends unparalleled softness to the stole, making it a luxurious ally against the bitter cold. Wrapping up in this sumptuous fabric is a desire you won't resist. It features a modern twist on the traditional Persian paisley pattern, with the sophisticated fired brick hue accentuating its plushness. Perfect as a gift for a loved one, it is 100% made in Lyon, France.
INSPIRATION

Drawing inspiration from Persian art, the Paisley pattern dates back to the Persians and the Sassanid Empire around 220 AD. It symbolizes the cypress tree, a Zoroastrian emblem of life and eternity. La Fabrique d'écharpe's design seeks to reinterpret the motif of palm leaves and ornate plants on a textile crafted from cashmere wool yarn sourced from the regions where the original design emerged. The palette is understated, embracing natural hues.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

This stole is a must-have for your wardrobe and complements a variety of outfits. It adds a chic and warm touch to your ensemble. It pairs well with coats in gray or beige, brown or navy, green or khaki, red or burgundy. Any color you choose will match perfectly with this stole's classic hues.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To wash a cashmere wool stole, it is advised to hand wash it using a detergent designed for natural fibers. Avoid soaking it for an extended period. For drying, lay the stole in a towel without wringing it. Dry it horizontally and use a high-heat iron with steam to rejuvenate its natural fibers. Although machine drying is not recommended, dry cleaning is an acceptable alternative.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The Jacquard loom, invented by Joseph Marie Jacquard from Lyon in 1801, was the first programmable mechanical system using punched cards to create patterns with interwoven colored threads. Leveraging the expertise handed down through our family since 1880, we have modernized to electronic Jacquard looms with digital controls, ensuring the highest quality of our fabrics while honoring the authentic traditions of Lyon.
